Couples like Haley & Keegan Crafton are just another reminder of how fun & joyful wedding planning can be. And here’s a favorite fun fact about these two: they booked me before they were even officially engaged! When you know, you know, and these two absolutely knew.
This July wedding at The Jewett House on Lake Coeur d’Alene was one of those days that felt like stepping into a summer postcard. Think: breezy lakefront views, soft neutral tones, sage green and sand-colored attire, and then at the center of it all, the happiest, most vibrant florals bursting with coral, citrus yellows, soft pinks, subtle blues, and pops of greenery. The entire aesthetic was this perfect balance of relaxed elegance and colorful joy, and it suited Haley & Keegan so well.
Let’s talk about the wind. Yes, it was windy. Very windy. But instead of frustration, the day was filled with laughter. Between veils fluttering in the breeze, bridesmaids holding bouquets with a little extra determination, and guests brushing hair out of their eyes while still soaking in those dreamy lake views. The wind became part of the story in the sweetest way, adding movement and magic to their photos.
And honestly? Watching Haley walk down that lakeside aisle, just enough overcast in the sky, wind making the water dance behind the altar, colorful florals welcoming you in, and Keegan absolutely beaming… nobody was thinking about the breeze.

One of my favorite parts of this design was how intentional the palette felt.
Haley’s bridesmaids wore a soft, natural green that paired beautifully with the bold, garden-style florals. Keegan and the groomsmen looked sharp in tan suits – classic, clean, one of my favorite looks. The tables were kept neutral and airy, letting the florals shine in all their lively color. Keegan will forever want it to be known that he picked the perfect beige napkin color!
Candles, glassware, and soft linens added warmth and texture, and the whole reception setup felt effortlessly romantic – like a European garden party with an Idaho heartbeat.
From the moment these two saw each other to their walk back down the aisle surrounded by cheering friends, every moment radiated joy. The golden-hour portraits, the lit-up “CRAFTONS” marquee, and the late-night dance floor (disco cowboy hats included) made the day feel unforgettable in the best way.
Haley & Keegan are the kind of couple who make everyone around them feel like part of the celebration. Planning their wedding was a dream from start to finish, and getting to witness their love story unfold, from before the proposal all the way to the final dance, was such a privilege.
