“We all go, why not enjoy the go?” as the Charmin commercial says. Bathrooms. Not a topic you often equate, or maybe you don’t want to think of, in the same space when talking about your wedding. However, we all must go eventually, and when you are hosting guests for 5-6 hours, it is a very important conversation to have during the wedding planning process. This is an especially prudent topic of conversation when you are hosting this special event at a private residence. Somewhere that doesn’t regularly host weddings or large events.
Every time I get an inquiry stating that the wedding is to be planned and hosted at a private residence versus a formal venue, my immediate thoughts land on parking, lighting, and bathrooms. Reasons being that… 1. Most residences do not have the layout dedicated area for 100+ vehicles to park, so where are your guests parking? And if that involves parking somewhere off site of the where the wedding is taking place how are they getting back from the parking area… walking, golf cart? 2. Most backyards or resident fields don’t have adequate lighting for seeing your food after it gets dark. Because once that sun goes down, it gets dark quickly, so what is your plan for making sure your guests can see their food or the person sitting next to them? And 3. Most people do not want every single guest traipsing through their house every time they have to go to the bathroom. This can get out of hand faster than you would think!
So… what do you do? How about bringing in a full bathroom on wheels?! I promise you do not want to spend all this time and all this effort transforming your special space only to have Honey Buckets over in the corner or on the front lawn for Aunt Sue to use in her nice blue dress and heels. Instead, you rent a beautiful, fully equipped luxury loo bathroom trailer for one of the amazing companies we have in our area! You treat your guests like royalty by ensuring they have comfortable spaces to relieve themselves in but not make a mess of the floor in your living space by going in and out every 5 seconds.
These bathrooms come with everything… flushable toilet, running water, wood panel flooring, a mirror, one of the companies can even have music planning in each stall. Get close enough to an outlet and a water hookup and you are off to the races. You absolutely will not regret investing in something that highly likely every single one of your guests is going to use at least once – trust me!
