Some of the most memorable weddings are those that are perfectly imperfect. Those are the ones you remember with extreme fondness because the couple embraces every moment exactly as it comes.
On October 18th, 2025, Emily & Kjelby’s wedding day brought a little bit of everything that the Inland Northwest has to offer in the fall. Sun. Wind. Overcast. Rain. And a crisp chill that settled in once the sun went down.
But you know what the weather didn’t dampen? The joy. The laughter. And the undeniable excitement of two people who were simply thrilled to be getting married.
And honestly… that’s what makes some of the best wedding celebrations.
From the moment the ceremony began, it was clear this day was going to be uniquely Emily and Kjelby.
Their ceremony took place outside with the beautiful glass greenhouse as the backdrop. A setting that felt perfectly aligned with their relaxed yet thoughtful style. Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged heartfelt vows filled with laughter and emotion.
And just when guests thought they had heard it all… Emily ended her vows with a rap.
Yes. An actual rap. And it was good! She killed it, dawg.
It was very Emily, hilarious, and completely perfect for the moment. The entire crowd erupted in laughter and cheers, setting the tone for the rest of the celebration.
Moments like that are exactly what make weddings feel personal and unforgettable.
Inside the reception space, the design was everything you hope for in an October wedding… warm, inviting, and full of seasonal color.
Long wooden tables filled the greenhouse, creating an atmosphere that felt both communal and elegant. The tables were decorated with dozens of bud vases arranged thoughtfully by family, each one filled with fresh fall blooms in rich tones of peach, rust, burgundy, and soft pink.
The effect was stunning. It felt organic and effortless, but still beautifully curated. A perfect example of how simple design elements can create an incredible visual impact when layered thoughtfully.
Then there was the seating chart. I couldn’t stop looking at it once we completed the design. Their display was titled “Our Best Buds” with acrylic table assignments and individual bud vases, tying the floral design into the guest experience in such a creative way. Hands down one of my favorite seating charts to date.

As the evening went on and the temperatures dropped, the energy inside the greenhouse only got higher.
Glow sticks appeared. Sunglasses of different shapes and colors emerged. The dance floor filled instantly.
And the celebration quickly turned into the kind of party people talk about long after the wedding is over.
Emily and Kjelby’s wedding party & guests showed up ready to celebrate, and they absolutely delivered.
Because October evenings in the Inland Northwest can get quite chilly, Emily and Kjelby had the perfect plan waiting.
As the night continued, guests were treated to late-night hot dogs and a candy station, giving everyone the energy boost they needed to keep the dance floor packed.
There’s something about comfort food at the end of a wedding night that just hits differently, and it was the perfect way to keep spirits high even as the temperatures dropped.

At the end of the day, Emily and Kjelby’s wedding was a perfect reminder that weddings aren’t about perfect weather or flawless timelines.
They’re about joy.
They’re about laughing through the unexpected.
They’re about celebrating love with the people who matter most.
Wind, rain, sunshine, rap vows, glow sticks, hot dogs, and all. This was the kind of wedding that reminds you exactly why we do what we do. And it’s one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
