Some weddings are beautiful. Some weddings are fun. And then there are weddings like Danika & Dylan’s, where every single detail feels personal, playful, and deeply them.
Set on a perfect September day on “The Bluff” at Trezzi Farm Winery, this celebration was bursting with color, creativity, and character from start to finish. Think funky (in the best way), heartfelt moments layered with laughter, and a guest experience that felt less like a traditional wedding and more like being welcomed into the couple’s world for the day.
The ceremony took place outdoors, framed by rolling vineyard views and that early-fall glow we all secretly hope for. And yes, September delivered flawlessly. Warm sun, crisp air, and the perfect number of happy clouds in the sky.
Guests were greeted not only by stunning scenery, but also by some very beloved attendees (by way of life-sized cutouts)… D+D’s chickens. It was one of those moments that instantly told everyone, this wedding is going to be different and very Dani-esque.
From the start, D+D leaned fully into color, and not in a “safe accent color” kind of way. Bold hues, playful patterns, and unexpected combinations came together in a way that felt curated but effortless.
Every space, every table had its own personality:
Nothing felt copy-and-paste. Every design choice felt intentional, expressive, and full of life. Just like this wonderful couple!

The reception wasn’t just beautiful. It was interactive, communal, and genuinely fun.
One of the most memorable moments of the day for me was D+D serenading their guests with an original song. Equal parts emotional and joyful, it was such a powerful reminder that weddings don’t need to follow a script to be meaningful. This one followed their hearts instead.
Dinner at Trezzi is always special. Guests were treated to incredible Italian cuisine, made onsite by the winery owner himself, who is a fantastic chef and has a passionate love for good food. The result? A meal that felt intimate, elevated, and deeply tied to the place everyone had gathered to celebrate.
Following dinner, instead of a traditional cake cutting, each table received their own individual cake (yes, every table). Dani even went as far as to have a couple of the cakes be gluten free or vegan, considering the dietary restrictions for the attendees sitting at that specific table – how thoughtful is that?! A pre-assigned “table captain” at each table took on the honor of cutting and serving the cake to their neighbors, instantly breaking the ice and turning dessert into a shared experience. It was one of those simple ideas that made the entire room feel connected.
As the sun dipped lower and the celebration shifted into the evening, the energy only grew. D+D’s people showed up ready to celebrate… hard. The dance floor was full, the vibes were high, and the joy was contagious.
This wedding wasn’t about trends or traditions for tradition’s sake. It was about storytelling. About honoring relationships. About creating moments guests will still be talking about years from now.

Danika & Dylan’s wedding was a reminder of why I love this work so much. When couples trust their instincts, embrace what makes them unique, and design a day that truly reflects who they are, the result is something unforgettable.
Colorful. Funky. Emotional. Joyful. And hands-down one of the coolest weddings with the coolest people.
Danika & Dylan… my love letter to you both. Thank you for letting me be part of a day that felt so alive, so personal, and so you. I will be forever grateful!
