On June 21st, after 15 months of dreaming and planning together, Megan and Tyler said I do on the lakeshore at The Jewett House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Even though the day brought its share of wind and rain, it only added to the romance and intimacy of the celebration. We squeezed out the ceremony without a single drop of rain overhead, and sunset photos were made memorable with clear umbrellas in hand, as Megan and Tyler leaned into the beauty of the moment, with Lake Coeur d’Alene as their backdrop.
Thoughtful Design in Blue, White & Gold
From the very beginning, Megan had a wedding vision that was timeless and elegant. Their color palette of soft blues, crisp whites, and touches of gold carried throughout the day. Incorporated in the airy floral arrangements of white blooms and delicate blue accents to the table settings with gold rimmed plates and powder blue napkins. It was a design that felt serene and sophisticated, perfectly complementing the lakeside setting.
Celebrating in Style
Guests gathered under the reception tent that was draped in white with twinkling lights overhead. With the help of some strategically placed patio heaters we created an atmosphere that felt both warm and magical. Despite the weather, spirits were high, drinks were flowing, laughter filled the evening, and you could feel the love everyone had for Megan and Tyler. For dinner, true wood fire pizza was served, and you bet when the catering staff offered me my own pizza at the end of the night with the leftover ingredients I sat on the porch and ate the whole thing while the guests danced the night away!!
And perhaps one of the most fun details of the day, in my very bias opinion, was their getaway car, “Roxy”. This beauty is a fiery red 1971 Plymouth Satellite and means a lot to my dad and brother. You see, we know Tyler from my brother’s childhood soccer days, so they were given very selective permission to ride out of their venue in style. It was the perfect send-off for a couple whose story is already full of joy, adventure, and a touch of classic charm.
A Joyful Beginning
Megan and Tyler’s wedding was a true reminder that a marriage isn’t defined by perfect weather, but by the love and celebration shared with the people who matter most. Their day was filled with intention, elegance, and heart. It was such an honor to walk alongside them through every detail of the planning process.
To Megan and Tyler: here’s to a lifetime of laughter, love, and maybe an anniversary drive in Roxy… to the end of the street.
